Honorariums are considered token payments given as gifts to individuals. Honorariums are not payments to individuals for services performed; cannot be paid to employees or students; and payments of $600.00 or greater require a completed personal services contract.
When completing the Check Request form, include the following information:
(a) The word "Honorarium" should be stated in the description field.
(b) Include the individual's social
security number and
complete home address.
