Computer Purchases

All requisitions for computer hardware and software must be approved by the Vice President for Technology and the President. The Office of Technology will check for any potential problems with equipment compatibility and specifications.

All purchases exceeding $50,000 require approval by the Tennessee Board of Regents. Hardware and software detailed and approved as part of the annual Computer and Telecommunications Plan (CTP) will not require further TBR approval. Changes to equipment requested and any request $50,000 and over not submitted in the original CTP will require TBR approval.
